The Criteria for Full membership CPRO is evidence of State registration with:

• The Nursing and Midwifery Council ( NMC) as a Registered Nurse or a Registered Nurse(Child),
• The Health Professions Council (formerly Council for Professionals Supplementary to Medicine) as a Paramedic
• The Health Professions Council (HPC) as an Operating Department Practitioner

Evidence of one of the following in-date provider certificates ALS, PALS NLS or APLS Evidence of current employment for the purpose of educating others in the prevention or management of life threatening emergencies

• A full member may attend speak and vote at the ordinary, extraordinary and Annual General Meetings (AGM).
• A full member will be eligible for all the services provided by CPRO.

The critera for Full membership joint CPRO and ERC is as above including :

• Resuscitation journal.

The Criteria for Associate membership :

• Evidence of providing education in the prevention and management of cardiac arrest
• Evidence of compliance with the current European and UK Resuscitation Guidelines
• Associate members may attend and speak at ordinary, extraordinary and AGM but will have no voting rights
• Associate members will be eligible for services provided by CPRO that will contribute to their knowledge and help them to provide a high level of education to the people they teach.

The Criteria for Associate membership joint CPRO and ERC is as above including :

• Resuscitation journal.

The Criteria for Corporate membership is :

• May be granted to an organisation who has a special interest in Resuscitation
• Organisation must be able to demonstrate commitment to the CPRO
• Corporate members may attend and speak at ordinary, extraordinary and AGM but will have no voting rights.
• Corporate members will be eligible for services selected by the CPRO
• They will receive quarterly news and will be put onto an electronic mailing list and kept informed of diary dates
• Corporate membership will be annually payable at the anniversary of joining.
